Some love stories start with fireworks. Jordan and Brianna’s started with chips, salsa, and a super long wait time at a Mexican restaurant. But when you’re deep in conversation on a first date and don’t even notice the delay, that’s when you know—this could be something good.
The couple chose the shores of Incline Village to exchange their vows and celebrate with family. The location had special meaning for Brianna who grew up coming to the area, and Jordan, even from New York, had his fair share of Tahoe memories. It was also their very first road trip together as a couple, so naturally, it made the perfect full-circle location for their wedding day.
The ceremony was held on the lawn at The Hyatt with views of Lake Tahoe that were complimented by stunning florals – one of Brianna’s favorite design elements. The couple chose a blend of traditions, bringing together Brianna’s Catholic roots and Jordan’s Jewish heritage in a way that felt personal and true to who they are as a couple. Their personal vows were sincere and beautiful – I may or may not have cried.
Their reception was held in the ball room with more views of the Lake and continued with traditions brought by both sides of the family. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and we were able to make some really beautiful images of the couple during Golden hour.
Planning a Tahoe wedding? Brianna’s advice: “Yes, it’s a lot. But remember why you’re doing it—to start your life with your favorite person.” Also: it helps when your venue is this gorgeous. Trust that it’ll all come together, and don’t forget to pause, breathe, and maybe eat some chips if things get overwhelming.
