I graduated with a degree in Art & Design with a minor in photo from Cal Poly, SLO.
My first camera was a Canon AE-1 given to me by my Dad. I still shoot with it.
I follow the light.
I will do everything I can so that you feel comfortable in front of my camera.
I will try to get you to climb on rocks, over fences, get knee high in the water and roll in the grass if you will let me.
I want to make portraits of you that are beautiful and real.
I think I'm hilarious.
I can wrangle a bridal party that has been drinking since breakfast just as well as I can be invisible when I need to capture a quiet moment.
I love to listen to stories and tell a few of my own. I love family, my friends, togetherness and laughing so hard you can barely catch your breath.
laughing
I saved the best for last. My favorite favorite. Laughter is healing, connecting, occasionally snort-inducing. It’s how I navigate life and the secret sauce in my most favorite images.
TaHome
I showed up for one last winter after college and never left. I started my business here. I met my partner and we married here. I have so much love and respect for this sacred place and I’m grateful to call it home.
my girls
Charlie and Stevie are their given names, but I usually just say “seriously?” and they know who I’m talking to.
flip flops
I have worn them to shovel the driveway. Toes were meant to be free. I will die on this hill… probably with frost bite.
Bikes. all the bikes
I love riding gravel, road, cruisers, every type of mountain… well… maybe not downhill, y’all are nuts.
