Wedding at Valhalla Historical Site, Lake Tahoe
Valhalla is one of my most favorite venues to photograph. Built in 1924, this historic, beautifully detailed wood and stone hall includes a wrap-around, lodge pole pine porch overlooking an expansive lawn perfect for cocktails or dinner. The Grand Hall features massive 20-foot tall stone fireplace and walk-in hearth that is the perfect backdrop for your ceremony and makes for a cozy option in the colder months. In addition to gorgeous views of the lake, Valhalla offers endless options for beautiful images with sunsets behind the pier, vintage structures and warm backlit forest scenes. In this particular I was able to catch a candid moment of the bride and groom ready to walk down to the pier for photos as the bridal party continues to prepare for the photo session. Location: Valhalla Historical Site, Lake Tahoe, CA.
