I have always loved the quote by Dr. Seuss ““We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.” I think this also applies to our closes friends. These are by far some of the most entertaining bridal party shots I’ve ever taken. And let’s give Jackie some giant props for her leap in heals. Nice work ladies and gentleman… these shots are priceless!

You want to do your engagement session in Laguna Beach on Christmas Eve and it’s 75 degrees out… uhm, okay! We had a fantastic time hanging out with John and Kelly on Victoria Beach in Laguna. It really couldn’t have been more beautiful outside and spending some time with this laid back, super awesome couple was a really nice way to spend our Christmas Eve. Congratulations you guys and we’ll see you again in August in Lake Tahoe!

I always love the opportunity to photograph in new and different spots, so when we decided to do Jackie and Richard’s engagement session in Long Beach, CA I was really excited to get creative. We definitely had quite an adventure trying to find spaces to shoot that we wouldn’t get kicked out of! We ended up in a high school parking lot of all places and the images are some of my favorite from the entire session. Perfect for Jackie and Richard too since they met in high school. I really had a fantastic time with these guys being goofy and driving all over Long Beach. Jackie and Richard will be getting married in a gorgeous outdoor venue in Gilroy, Ca on February 4th and we can’t wait to be there!
