A LITTLE BIT ABOUT JAIME ...

I'm a wedding and portrait photographer based in Lake Tahoe, but I've been fortunate enough to travel to some of my favorite places on earth to photograph weddings and families.

I graduated with a degree in Art and Design from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

I will try to get you to climb on rocks, over fences, get knee high in the water and roll in the grass if you will let me.

I want to make portraits of you that are beautiful and real.

I follow the light.

I will do everything I can to make you feel comfortable in front of my camera.

I think I'm hilarious.

I can wrangle a bridal party that has been drinking since breakfast just as well as I can be invisible when I need to capture a quiet moment.

I've won awards and been published on several blogs and in print, but the biggest compliment that I can receive is making my clients happy.

Random fun facts? Sure.

I am an Ironman and race endurance events. Why? I still don't know.

I snowboard and try to ski on occasion.

I have two girl dogs named Chuck and Steve, but mostly I just refer to them as "seriously?".

I love bikes. My husband built me a bike for our wedding and I can't think of a more perfect gift. All of my bikes have names. What are they? Glad you asked. Sriracha, Liv, Duck, No Brakes and Jem.

Someday I will own a ranch full of rescue animals and bicycles.

I dislike avocados and guacamole. I realize this may be a deal breaker, but if you make guacamole I will always be polite and try it. I keep hoping my taste buds will grow up. I also hate mustard, but that's a different story.

I love to listen to stories and tell a few of my own. I love family, my friends, togetherness and laughing so hard your gut hurts the next day.
